Coach Thompson is entering his 21^st year of coaching, fourteen of which he has been at Martin. Previously, he coached at Groveton for four years, Kaufman for one year, and served as the head coach and athletic director at Sterling City for two years. Coach Thompson is a Hardin-Simmons graduate, and was a member of four conference championship football teams. Coach Thompson is married to Erin and has two children, Kendall and Barrett.
